List activity rooms and supporting spaces
Identify classroom floors, cleared tables, accessible surfaces and washroom fixtures. Add the office, staff room and entrance areas intended for service with the requested frequency.
- Classroom and activity-area floors
- Cleared tables and agreed surfaces
- Child and staff washroom fixtures
- Entry, office and staff spaces
Assign the items requiring special instructions
Toys, learning materials, sleep equipment and personal belongings remain under the centre’s direction. Identify whether an item is proposed for cleaning and agree its task, method and responsibility separately.
Include the centre’s written requirements
Bring surface or product restrictions and any requested disinfection tasks to the assessment. These must be considered explicitly; a routine cleaning list does not establish a health outcome or replace centre policies.
Plan the available time accurately
Record last pickup, first arrival, occupied rooms and the authorized entrance. Where the centre shares a property, include landlord or building requirements alongside the centre’s own access arrangements.
Keep the initial enquiry focused on the property
Room types, approximate area, washroom count and current staff tasks are enough to begin. Do not include children’s names, images, attendance records or security credentials.
